Any reduction in the natural gas supply will affect only the Ukraine
The Ukrainian party officially informed FGSZ Natural Gas Transmission Plc., as the holder of the transmission system operation license (TSO) that Russia had reduced natural gas supply towards the Ukraine starting on 10.00 a.m. on Monday. This reduction will have no effect onto transit shipments towards Europe. The missing gas sources will be replaced with higher withdrawal from gas storage facilities in the Ukraine. Natural gas supply towards Hungary is fully in accordance with the contract, firm supply of gas for all consumer categories is satisfactorily secured.
