Successful MEKH - FGSZ meeting

FGSZ and MEKH have agreed to issue a common statistical publication on the natural gas industry at the successful meeting held this week in Siófok.

On 28 August 2013 FGSZ received representatives of the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority. Lajos Dorkota dr., president, Csaba Paróczai dr., general vice president and Dóra Buda, head of cabinet were received at the headquarters of FGSZ in Siófok by János Fehér, CEO, Szabolcs I. Ferencz, senior vice president of Corporate Affairs of MOL Plc and Pál Buday, director of System Operation and Capacity Trade of FGSZ. A brief presentation introduced the professional history of the company, the technical parameters of the infrastructure operated by FGSZ, and the strategic opportunities of the company were mentioned as well.

The parties concluded that the Authority and FGSZ have an exemplary cooperation, no problematic disagreement exist between them.

János Fehér CEO emphasized: he hopes sincerely that the successful professional cooperation between the Authority and FGSZ will continue in the future. Lajos Dorkota dr. informed the participants that the Authority will endeavour to speed up proceedings and to continue the successful cooperation.

Lajos Dorkota dr., president and János Fehér, CEO agreed that FGSZ, collaborating with the Authority, would prepare a statistical publication on the natural gas industry dealing with the data of 2013, providing useful information for the entire profession. FGSZ offered its proactive professional support and that the company would compile the publication.

During the visit to the Dispatching Centre of FGSZ the visitors could become acquainted with the gas day transmission tasks, the physical balancing management, the topics of accounting, and also the operation of the informatical platform, the daily natural gas and capacity trading platform (balancing platform) and that of SCADA.
