Transformation of network usage contractual conditions from the gas year of 2020/21

Based on the feedbacks of the Network Users and the business experience of the past years, our Company revised the contracts of its Business Code (hereinafter BC) concerning the Network Users. The primary goal was to set the terms and conditions of the services provided to the Network Users within a unified framework, in a clearer and more transparent way, while reducing the administrative burden for both the Network User and our Company.

As a result of the above, the following Annexes of the Business Code concerning for Network Users have been merged into a new Network Usage Framework Contract (hereinafter Framework Contract). 

  • 4.1 Network Usage Framework Contract,
  • 4.4 Informatic Platform User Contract (only for Network Users)
  • 4.7 Contract for Using Title Transfer Services
  • 4.8 Contract on Balancing Natural Gas Settlement.

The BC including the new Framework Contract was approved by the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Authority in the resolution No. H1899/2020 with the effect from 1 October 2020.

The amendments made in connection with the merger in the BC, its Annex 4d to the General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter GTC 4.d) and in the Framework Contract are partly of a technical nature - see the establishment of a consolidated contract, the elimination of parallel provisions - and some of which are of a content nature, about which more information can be found HERE.

As of October 1, 2020, our Company provides its services on the basis of the amended Framework Contract, which is part of our BC and was created by merging several contracts as described above, and on the basis its Annex GTC 4.d.

In the case of our active partners, the amended consolidated contract between the Parties will be sent for signature shortly, filled in with the data of the given partner. Please return the contract amendment signed by the authorized to represent the company till October 1, 2020 at the latest. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic we offer as a facilitation the possibility of using the appropriate electronic signature (conditions available HERE), if you do not have electronic signature please return it on a paper basis.

Should you do not return the signed contract amendment it shall not affect the entry into force of the amendments. With the consolidation and restructuring the contract Our goal was to ensure the clear traceability of the rules governing the legal relationship between the parties, so you are kindly return the duly signed contract on time.

We hope that by making the services provided by our Company clearer and more transparent, and by reducing the burden of administration by the possibility of using electronic signatures, we can increase the satisfaction of our Partners.
