Firm capacities at VIP Bereg HU>UA network point

We are pleased to inform you that based on the joint efforts of FGSZ and GTSOU and the resulting agreement between the TSOs, it has become possible to offer firm capacities on the VIP Bereg (HU>UA) network point for the Hungarian-Ukraine flow direction concerning the first quarter of 2022 on a pilot basis.
The first capacity auction regarding firm capacities will start at 16.30 (CET) on 31 December 2021 for the gas day of 1 January 2022.
Daily and within-day capacities will be offered for the period between 1 January 2022 and 31 March 2022, while for the gas months of February and March of gas year 2021/2022, monthly capacities will also be available. The maximum value of firm capacity is 3,532,015 kWh/h.
FGSZ and our Ukrainian partner are working together towards the extension of the three-month pilot period. Establishment of the HU>UA firm capacities have no effect on the pre-existing UA>HU transmission capacities.
