Interconnection Agreement amendment between Eustream (Slovakia) and FGSZ (Hungary)

The amendment of the Interconnection Agreement has been signed between FGSZ Zrt. and Slovak Eustream a.s. for the Vel'ké Zlievce/Balassagyarmat Slovak-Hungarian border crossing point.

Under the agreement the firm capacity at the interconnection point (IP) on a pilot basis will be increased to 4,240,252 kWh/h ( i.e. from 2.63 bcma to 3.5 bcma) in the direction of Hungary-Slovakia as of the gas day of 2 October 2024 until gas day of 31 March 2025.

The increased capacity will be offered as a daily product (from 2 October 2024) at the respective daily capacity auctions on 1 October 2024. The increased capacity will be offered at each subsequent capacity auction in accordance with the CAM NC auction calendar.

The capacity increase now being implemented at the Slovak-Hungarian border crossing, which does not require investment on either side, is an important part of the Vertical Corridor.
