FGSZ among panel participants at FLAME 2022

FLAME conference has been Europe's flagship event on the natural gas and LNG industry for many years, bringing together industry leaders and decision-makers. This year's event was organised between May 3-5 in Amsterdam, with the main focus on securing Europe's energy supply and hitting climate change targets.
On the second day of the conference, in a joint panel discussion with Ákos Kriston, the CEO of HGS, Chairman-CEO of FGSZ Ltd., Szabolcs I. Ferencz presented the main challenges affecting the Hungarian gas infrastructure and the ongoing projects supporting the adaptation of the existing infrastructure and its role in the green transition.
Mr Ferencz confirmed that gas infrastructure operators want to be part of the net-zero energy world that requires massive investment, cooperation, and flexibility – already in the short term. In the meantime, immediate security of supply issues in the particularly vulnerable and exposed Central and Eastern European region must be solved as well.
