Excellent performance at the Emergency Response Plan training

2020. 12. 22.

We cannot be prepared enough for emergencies, so it is vital for us to perform quickly and correctly under all circumstances. This year’s Emergency Response Plan training took place on the site of Szada Compressor station, where our colleagues took action in order to manage a situation caused by a gas blow.

Like so many things this year, this training had occurred in a somewhat irregular manner; as – due to the measurements induced by the pandemic – most of the training was performed online and on the phone. During the simulation our colleagues had secured the site, disconnected and depressurised the pipeline section, and began repair works. This time, as always, we strictly kept the notification and troubleshooting protocol, while constantly informing the Disaster Management and our Slovakian partner, Eustream.

We have proved, however, that we efficiently manage emergencies even under difficult circumstances, since we managed to overcome the situation in only a little more than one and a half hours.

This has also been confirmed by the authorities: they found the training to be successful and highlighted the quick and effective intervention of our colleagues.

Congratulations to the participants!
