NRAs’ approval: Project proposal for incremental capacity between the entry-exit systems of Romania (‘RO’) and Hungary (‘HU’)

Please be advised that the joint project proposal prepared in line with the Commission Regulation (EU) 459/2017 by FGSZ Ltd. (‘FGSZ’) and Transgaz S.A. (’Transgaz’), obtained a coordinated approval.
The Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority (MEKH) and the Romanian National Regulatory Authority (ANRE) approved the joint project proposal prepared by FGSZ and Transgaz in a coordinated decision (Decision number of MEKH H1906 / 2024.; decision number of ANRE: 853/10.05.2024) issued on 10 May 2024.
In line with the incremental capacity process, TSOs announced an incremental capacity auction based on the project proposal and the adjacent documentation, which will start at 9.00 a.m. (CET) on 1 July 2024.
