Public consultation on the change proposal of the Interconnection Agreement between FGSZ Ltd. and eustream, a.s.

Transmission system operators FGSZ Ltd. and eustream, a.s. have launched the public consultation on change proposal of the Interconnection Agreement regarding the gas transmission through interconnection point Veľké Zlievce – Balassagyarmat (IP).
According to the Article 4 (2) Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/703 of 30 April 2015 establishing a network code on interoperability and data exchange rules, both transmission system operators invite the network users to comment on the following proposed text:
Rules for the matching process
- Unless Parties agree otherwise for the Matching purposes online communication channel shall be used for exchange of particular data. AS4 shall be used as a data communication protocol and Edig@s version 5.1 or higher as a data format. Quantities shall be expressed as hourly values in kWh.
- FGSZ shall have the role of Initiating TSO. Daily, not later than 14:45 of the Gas day D-1 FGSZ shall inform EUS about quantities nominated by the Shippers of the Transmission network of FGSZ to be transmitted through the IP for the following Gas day, with reference to the pre-defined Counterparty relationship. Such information shall be based on the binding Nominations of the Shippers of FGSZ. If EUS does not receive any information by 14:45 the Nominations shall be deemed zero.
- EUS shall have the role of Matching TSO. EUS shall perform Matching of all Shippers in order to check whether the quantities which were nominated by Shippers of the Transmission network of EUS for being delivered or taken over at the IP correspond with the quantities nominated for taking over or delivering at the IP by Shippers of the Transmission network of FGSZ.

The consultation period commences on 21 February 2024 and will close on 22 April 2024.
Having closed the consultation, FGSZ Ltd. and eustream, a.s. will evaluate the responses received during the consultation and take the network users’ comments into account when amending abovementioned interconnection agreement.
