EU interconnection points - system development projects

Our Company regularly monitors the demand both via binding and non-binding market demand assessments relevant to interconnection points. Further to the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/459 (hereinafter: CAM NC) at least in each odd-numbered year our Company cooperates with the adjacent transmission system operators in the processes of assessing non-binding market demand for incremental capacity and of conducting technical studies for incremental capacity projects for the joint interconnection points.

Accordingly, in compliance with the Article 26 of the CAM NC our Company will run market demand assessment procedure between 3 July and 28 August 2023 for its EU cross-border interconnection points.

The non-binding demand indications can be submitted by filling out the incremental capacity survey sheet available at this link and sent to our Company by 28 August 2023, under the conditions detailed in the respective newsletter.

The corresponding Resolution No. H1617/2021 of the Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority regulating the application rules and payment terms of the registration fee is accessible here in Hungarian. The English translation of the Attachment No. 1. thereto - detailing the specific application rules and payment terms - is accessible here for informative purposes exclusively. Further details are regulated by the Business Code of our Company.

The respective market demand assessment reports will be published at the given interconnection point below by 23 October 2023, the latest.
